Ontario invited 4,452 candidates under the 3 OINP draws

On February 8, 2024, the Government of Ontario invited candidates through three Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP) draws. The province issued 2,118 targeted notifications of interest (NOIs) to candidates with experience in Tech occupations under the Human Capital Priorities (HCP) Stream. The minimum scores for this draw were between 471 and 480 points.  OINP conducted two other draws under the Employer Job Offer: International Student stream and issued 1,188 invitations to apply (ITAs) in the General draw of the EJO IS stream and 1,152 ITAs to candidates with work experience in Tech and Healthcare occupations. The minimum scores for these draws were 78 points and 73 points, respectively. The latest Ontario OINP Draw invited 1,654 candidates in the job offer Stream On January 19, 2024, the Government of Ontario held the latest Ontario-OINP draw in the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream (EJO FW) Stream of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP).  The province issued 1,654 invitations to apply (ITAs) in the General draw of the EJO FW stream. All invitees have their profiles created in the Express Entry system between January 19, 2023, and January 19, 2024. The minimum score for this draw was 50. In total, Ontario invited 6,641 candidates through the OINP streams in 2024. The January 9 targeted profiles for the previous OINP Foreign Worker stream had job offers in any of the 63 skilled trade occupations, 41 healthcare occupations, or 15 tech occupations. Ontario published the OINP application processing times for 2024

Ontario published the OINP application processing times for 2024  Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP). Currently, the OINP application processing times for 2024  for the different immigration streams are given below:  PhD Graduate and Masters Graduate streams are 30-60 days, and for  Ontario’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream is 60-90 days.  Processing time for Express Entry French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream and Employer Job Offer: International Student Stream is 90-120.  The average processing time for Express Entry Skilled Trades Stream, Employer Job Offer: In-Demand Skills Stream, and Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream is 120-150 days.  The processing time for Ontario’s Expression of Interest (EOI) Assessment in the Entrepreneur Stream still requires less than 30 days, and  the application processing depends on the complexity of the business nomination application.  The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) works with the Canadian government through Immigrati

OINP held two draws under the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream On January 9, 2024, the Government of Ontario held two draws in the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream ( EJO FW ) Stream of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP).  The province issued 821 targeted invitations to apply (ITAs) to tech and healthcare occupations and 630 ITAs for skilled trades workers. The minimum scores for these draws were 40 and 33, respectively.  All invitees have profiles created between January 9, 2023, and January 9, 2024. So far, the province invited 1,451 candidates under the OINP in 2024.
