SINP Application Processing Times 2024 updated  On January 12, 2024, SINP Application Processing Times 2024 was updated for various streams of the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP). The processing time is updated quarterly (every three months). It indicates the average time it took to process an application in that quarter. Time is measured in weeks for each category. Processing times can vary and are not always a reliable indicator of future applications. The average processing time for 80% of applications is provided below. It is the time between when an application is first received and when it is finally processed. The fastest and slowest 10% of applications are considered outliers and are excluded from the average. Saskatchewan published a new schedule for the 2024 Entrepreneur program On December 27, 2023, the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) Entrepreneur program updated the Expression of Interest (EOI) pool selection schedule for the 2024 entrepreneur program.  The province will conduct the EOI pool selections on January 11, April 11, July 11, and October 10, 2024. According to the new update, candidates cannot change their business plans after applying to the program.  They also cannot change their Business Performance Agreement after the SINP approval. In 2023, Saskatchewan held six business draws and invited 209 entrepreneurs.   Saskatchewan expands the SINP to include 279 new jobs On November 1, 2023, the Government of Saskatchewan announced broadening the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) to bolster worker retention. The expansion now allows certain work permit holders in intermediate and lower-skilled occupations to apply for permanent residency under the Existing Work Permit stream.  This change opens up PR opportunities for internationally trained workers in these sectors who meet the program's criteria, including language requirements and a full-time job offer.  Previously, only high-skilled and designated trade workers were eligible for this program.   SINP latest draw invited 642 candidates from eight countries On August 16, 2023, Saskatchewan conducted new rounds of invitations in the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) and invited candidates residing in Ireland, India, Poland, Czechia, Germany, Lithuania, Slovakia, and Ukraine.  The province invited 23 candidates from Ireland under the Express Entry category and 12 candidates under the Occupations In-Demand category.  Furthermore, Saskatchewan issued 224 and 207 invitations to Indian candidates through the Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand categories, respectively.  Lastly, to support a recruitment mission to Poland, the province invited candidates residing in Poland, Czechia, Germany, Lithuania, Slovakia, and Ukraine – 98 under the Express Entry and 78 through the Occupations In-Demand categories.  In total, Saskatchewan invited 642 candidates on August 16.
