  Over 4,000 candidates invited in the IEC Rounds of Invitations 2023 Over the last week, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held new draws in the IEC rounds of invitations 2023. From August 26 to September 1, Canada invited 4,314 young foreigners to apply for an IEC open work permit.   On July 6, 2023, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) conducted a new invitation draw under the Human Capital Priorities Stream. In the latest tech draw, the OINP issued 748 targeted Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to candidates with work experience in one of the in-demand tech occupations.  Those candidates' CRS Express Entry score was between 479-485 points. The OINP invited candidates under nine national occupational codes (NOC) in this draw. In 2023, Ontario issued 20,946 invitations under all streams of OINP, including 8,499 candidates under the Human Capital Priorities Stream.
