Over 200 tech professionals and skilled candidates were invited in the Latest BC PNP Draw

  On September 26, 2023, the Latest BC PNP Draw issued new invitations in the Skilled Worker – International Graduate categories of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program.  In the Tech-targeted draw, BC issued 127 invitations with a minimum score of 90 points.  In the Childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 42202), the province invited 49 candidates who scored 60 points.  In the Healthcare-targeted draw, the province issued 28 invitations.  In addition, the province invited up to five candidates for other priority occupations (NOCs 31003, 32104).  The province invited up to 209 candidates with a score of 60-90 points.  Including this draw, in 2023, British Columbia has already issued 7,852 invitations. British Columbia and Quebec have already raised their minimum wages this year, while the federal minimum wage went up on April 1. When the provincial minimum wage exceeds the federal minimum wage, the employee must be paid the higher of the two.   10 business candidates invited under the OINP Entrepreneur Stream Under the OINP Entrepreneur Stream, 10 business candidates were invited on September 25, 2023, as the Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP) released the new draw results. It was the fifth draw for business candidates of the year.  In this draw, the province issued 10 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to business candidates.  This round's Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score was between 136 and 163 . The OINP noted that those whose Expressions of Interest were scored by September 20, 2023, were eligible for this draw.  As a candidate, you can work with an immigration specialist. Canada has already invited 119,104 IEC candidates in 2023 As of September 22, Canada has issued 119,104 invitations to IEC candidates in 2023 season. Canada plans to welcome 90,000 newcomers this year through the International Experience Canada (IEC) program.  While more than 100,000 candidates have been invited, it should be noted that not all candidates will apply, and not all applicants will be accepted. In 2024, Iceland will be added to the list of IEC participating countries. Canada and Iceland signed a reciprocal agreement on August 4, which allows young adults aged 18-30 to work and travel between the two countries.  Finland will also join as a participating country in 2024, and South Korean youth will be eligible to participate in the Young Professionals and International Co-Op programs.
