About the Prince Edward Island (PEI) PNP

The Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) was established in 2001 with the goal of bringing and keeping in the province more immigrants who could help with the province's economic and labour market needs as well as promote economic growth. The PEI PNP draws immigrants who are likely to settle on the island and have the education, training, and skills required. The province has been able to welcome more immigrants since the PNP launched.

If you want to live permanently in Prince Edward Island, you can apply to the federal government through the PEI Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). Individuals are selected for nomination based on their wish to live and work in PEI as well as their financial potential to establish themselves here. Priority will be given to enterprises and persons qualified to work in areas of identified skill shortages in the PEI labor market at this time.

What are the PEI PNP streams?

The Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP), a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), is a collection of immigration streams intended for immigrants with business acumen, skilled workers, and recent graduates. PEI PNP streams are:

  • PEI Express Entry
