Expression of Interest (EOI)

The Expression of Interest (EOI) ranking system applies to the Skilled Worker and International Education Stream pathways. The Business Investor Stream pathways each have their own process for submitting an EOI. Submitting an EOI is the first step toward obtaining permanent residency in Manitoba through the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP).

Skilled Workers Stream

The Skilled Worker Stream is locally driven and based on Manitoba employers' needs. We choose internationally trained and experienced workers with the skills required in the local labor market and nominate them for Canadian permanent residence in order for them to settle and work in Manitoba. These two pathways work in the Manitoba Skilled workers stream:

  • Skilled Worker in Manitoba (SWM) and

  • Skilled Worker Overseas (SWO)
